Eaton Fair Shopping Centre Redevelopment

Eaton Fair Shopping Centre is undergoing a sizeable redevelopment and extending its portfolio of retailers to include Kmart, Woolworths, Coles, a restaurant/bar and also a Gold Class Cinema. The scope of works contracted to SVG included detailed excavations, formwork erection, reinforcement installation and concrete placement which included concrete pumping where necessary. Additional scope included precast panels (form and erection), with post tensioning.

SVG was successfully awarded this contract due to a non-confirming bid. Thanks to the experienced SVG management team, it was advised to the Client to change the design of the suspended precast slabs to concrete reinforced PT slabs, in order to meet the developer’s construction programme and timeframe.
